The project was designed to transport products such as diesel, jet fuel and LPG from the terminal to the booster pump as ship’s connection
point via pipeline, it was built to meet the demand for 60,000 tons of ship’s allotment, nearly 58,000m³ of petroleum products,
to be transported to ships through this pipeline project.
The pipeline is built 21 meters underwater. Because it is a project built in water, the steel pipe needs to be processed with concrete
weight coating, which can provide negative buoyancy for the submarine pipeline to ensure its stability on the seabed.
At the same time, it offers effective mechanical protection for the pipeline during the transportation, hoisting, installation
and service period; especially in shallow sea areas, it can reduce the external force damage caused by fishing vessels
and large cargo ships, as well as the damages to the complex undersea environment. The concrete weight coating has
high-density performance, compressive strength, durability and weather resistance.
This project apply with a 50mm thickness concrete weight coating. The processing and testing procedures are strictly in
accordance with ISO 21809-5 and DNVGL-ST-F101 standards. All ordered products adhere to a 28 day curing cycle
to ensure that the quality and testing data meet customer needs. In addition, in terms of shipping, 90 containers
are shipped at the same time with only 3 days space to delivery the pipes to Tianjin port and load into containers,
which is a big challenge. However, Xinyue has faced the challenge of fast shipping in a short time, which is closely
related to the daily accumulated shipping experience and the efficient coordination ability of each department. At present,
this batch of pipelines has passed the third-party inspection and successfully shipped.
