At the end of April 2021,
Xinyue received an inquiry
from a Middle Eastern customer regarding the
seamless pipeline pipe of API 5L PSL2GR BN,
with an outer surface coated with 3LPE.
The end user of this project is an oil company,
and the products are used for oil transportation.
Xinyue has successfully operated many
similar sized oil pipeline projects and has rich experience.
Upon receiving the inquiry,
we immediately submitted the sample MTC, ITP and QCP,
as well as relevant shipping experience to
the customer and terminal for review.
The professional technical documents
were quickly recognized and approved by the customer.
However, due to the epidemic in the later stage,
the project was put off.
During the period of project delay shelving,
Xinyue has been in close contact with customers
and regularly sends them the latest market trends.
The effort did not disappoint the person who intended it.
In mid October 2022,
the project was announced to be restarted,
and Xinyue’s outstanding performance in the early stage
and during the project stagnation period allowed Xinyue
to successfully obtain the supply rights for the project.
This order is fully supervised by a third-party
company designated by the terminal.
During the production process of over 2 months,
all aspects including raw material procurement,
steel pipe production, and coating processing have
successfully passed third-party inspections.
Currently, all goods departed on April 10th and are expected to
arrive at destination port by the end of May.
Recently, we have received good news from this client
who is expected to visit our company for inspection and
discuss plans for further cooperation within this year.
