In late July of 2021, Xinyue received an inquiry from a new customer, a well-known local manufacturer in Vietnam. This time, customers needed to urgently purchase a batch of non-conventional LSAW steel pipe JIS G3444 stk400, with a size of 267.40mm * 6mm and a total of 224 pieces for producing and processing.
In the early process of customer development, the sales specialist knew that customers had high requirements for product quality, wall thickness tolerance, delivery date and payment terms. The first time cooperation was a fresh start and the challenge was also the opportunity. In order to eliminate all doubts of customers, Xinyue sorted out the project records and technical data of all unconventional steel pipes over the years, as well as the reports passed the third-party inspection and audit. Firstly, we reassured the customers in terms of quality control and delivery date; In addition, a detailed project schedule, delivery standard and specific shipping date had been formulated. The customer appreciated Xinyue’s meticulous working spirit and expressed its willingness to carry out this cooperation with Xinyue. Therefore, Xinyue had successfully opened the door of cooperation with this customer.
The total quantity was increased from 224 pieces to 324 pieces when we were ready signing the contract. The reason of increasing quantity was that the customer believed Xinyue was more professional than others through recent communication, therefore, customers placed the original order which planned purchase in local to Xinyue. We only spent 7 days from producing to delivery, dealt with urgent need of customers, Xinyue lived up to expectations. Now, those pipes were already shipped and will arrive at destination port at the end of August.
