In August 2021, Xinyue successfully shipped a batch of high-quality pipelines to Ecuador. This was the first time for us to cooperate with customers. We knew each other in May 2020. The business specialist contacted and communicated with customer in detail as soon as received the inquiry. Then, we knew the product required were used in the oil transportation project of Ecuador oil company. Moreover, the project party had strict requirements on the pipe and anti-corrosion. The technical requirements were much higher than the API 5L standard, all steps must be implemented in strict accordance with the technical documents.

The product required in this order was API 5L x70m psl-2, externally coated with FBE anti-corrosion, and a total of 1495 tons of LSAW steel pipes. In order to better serve customers, the technology department issued documents based on requirements of customer, such as welding process qualification and inspection plan. At the same time, the business department also submitted quotation to customers immediately. All work was advancing in an orderly manner, but the epidemic abroad became serious, resulting in the delay of the project. Xinyue firmly believed that all this was just a temporary press of the “stop button”. Under the epidemic situation, the business specialist always kept close contact with customers, shared market dynamics and price trends in time, and helped customers to keep abreast of the latest trends in the Chinese market. The customer affirmed Xinyue’s professionalism and meticulous service, and immediately established a cooperative relationship with Xinyue when the project was restarted in early 2021. This was another breakthrough in cooperation between Xinyue and oil companies, we directly involved in the project construction.

Ecuador is the fifth largest oil producer in Latin America, and Petroecuador is a mainstay of the economy. Under such background, customer must had strict requirements for this project, especially paid much attention on the details of the production process. In order to ensure each pipe could meet requirements of customer, Xinyue cooperated with the third-party testing company for every work during production, from the inspection of raw materials, the production process and finished products to the packaging and stacking. Finally, all products passed the third-party inspection standards. The customer appreciated the inspection results and said that he would work together with Xinyue again.

At present, all products have successfully set sail at the end of August. Behind every order, we can do nothing without Xinyue’s consistent service concept and the full support of customers.
